Confined Space Entry Training

Students who are deemed competent will receive a Statement of Attainment, which is recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This training is nationally recognised:

• RIIWHS202E Enter and work in confined spaces
• MSMPER205 Enter confined space
• MSMPER202 Observe permit work
• MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued work permit

Intrinsic Safety Pty Ltd (RTO45803) is responsible under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 for the quality of the training and assessment being delivered in this course and for the issuance of all AQF certificates.

Assessment Methods

For entry into this Confined Space Entry Training, there are no prerequisite qualifications. However, to ensure your success, the following entry requirements must be met:

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess sound language and literacy skills, equivalent to at least Year 10 English.
• Be able to commit to the course duration and time requirements.
• The ability to perform physical tasks wearing PPE in confined space environments.
• The ability to remain calm and focused in confined, potentially stressful environments.
• Have access to a computer and reliable internet connection.
• Provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
• Have a valid email address and a telephone number for communication, support, and assessment purposes.
